Type species. Notostrix attenuata Keifer, 1963a: 7–8 .
Diagnosis. Body elongate; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles on rear shield margin, directed posteriorly; genu II seta absent, empodium entire; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae; opisthosoma with a furrow.
This genus consists of 7 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Only one species has been recorded from Southeast Asia.
