Type Locality: Australia, Tasmania.
Vernacular Names: Tasmanian Pademelon.

Distribution: Australia: SE South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania, islands in Bass Strait; probably survives only in Tasmania.
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
