Previous records. LAO CAI (Sa Pa); VINH PHUC (Tam Dao NP); HA TAY (currently known as extension region of HA NOI); HAI PHONG (Cat Ba NP); QUANG BINH (Minh Hoa; Dong Hoi); THUA THIEN HUE (Hue city); DA NANG (Ba Na Mts); DAK LAK (30km SSW of Ban Me Thuot); KHANH HOA (Hon Ba Mts); DONG NAI (Cat Tien NP) (Attems, 1938, 1953; Schileyko, 1992, 1995, 2007).
Remarks. The species is distributed in all tropical and subtropical parts of Eurasia, but is absent from the Mediterranean region. It is also recorded from some parts of Africa, Phillippines, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Caribbean region and South America (Chao & Chang, 2003; Schileyko, 2007, Shelley, 2002).
