Type:—[ GEORGIA. Caucasia] in Iberiae apricis siccis, Marschall von Bieberstein s.n. (LE).
Phenology: Flowering between May and August.
Distribution and ecology: Greece, Crimea, Caucasian region, North Syria, Turkey (North & central Anatolia). Irano-Turanian element. Streamsides, igneous banks, steppes, serpentine rocks and screes, sloping limestone rocks, 400—2400 m.
Conservation status: LC ( IUCN 2017). It is widely distributed in northern and central Anatolia, and other countries, and no special threats were observed on this species.
