Paesia glandulosa (Sw.) Kuhn, Festschr. View in CoL 50 Jähr. Jub. Königstädt. Realschule Berlin 347. 1882.
Range:— Antilles; Costa Rica to Bolivia (CO, LP); southeastern Brazil (exact range uncertain due to confusion with P. acclivis ).
Ecology:— Fairly common; terrestrial, scandent in humid forests, often on shrubby slopes and along forest edges; 1400–3600 m.
Notes:— Paesia acclivis (Kunze) Kuhn is a little-known species that is often placed under P. glandulosa . It differs by glabrous leaves and axes, and pinnae entire or with only a single acroscopic lobe. Known from Venezuela and Ecuador, and perhaps also in Bolivia.
