Allaxius Sakai and de Saint Laurent, 1989: 73–74 View in CoL . Remarks. Allaxius View in CoL , with five species from the Indian Ocean, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, is recognised by the uropodal exopod being spined laterally with its second article at least as long as wide and usually longer than wide, and the uropodal endopod having broadly shoulders proximolaterally. The rostrum is short, about the same length as the eyestalks, with short lateral teeth.
