Distribution: N Veracruz ( Mexico) to Nebraska, the Great Lakes, and Pennsylvania, south to Florida and the Gulf coast ( USA).
Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc).
