Specimens examined. 2♂. THAILAND: Nakhon Nayok Prov., Khao Yai N.P., 14°23.933′N, 101°22.266′E, alt. 786 m, 6.IV.2010, np3870 (♂, genitalia slide NP1432); Nakhon Ratchasima Prov., Khao Yai N.P., 14°25.916′N, 101°24.083′E, alt. 700 m, 4–7.I.2017, np9833 (♂, genitalia slide NP4028). All specimens were collected by N. Pinkaew et al. and deposited in KKIC .

Diagnosis. The wing pattern of Statherotis olenarcha ( Fig. 5 ) has an elongate patch on the costa that differs from the subtriangular patch in other known Statherotis species in Thailand. The hind tibia also differs from other species by lacking a tuft of hair pencils. The male hindwing ( Fig. 5 ) is most similar to S. amaeboea in being subrectangular and lacking any modified scales. The male genitalia ( Fig. 32 ) are superficially similar to S. amaeboea , but the bilobed uncus is narrower than the latter species.

Remarks. Specimens from Thailand were collected from dry evergreen forest at 700– 786 m.
