Rostrum short (RL: 0.40 mm, RW: 0.32 mm, RL/RW: 1.25), conical to sides with expanded pterygium. Epistome absent. Mesorostrum carinae divergent to sides. Submentum covered by yellowish pappolepida, also partially visible around mesorostrum. Interocular pit visible. Forehead convex (FW/MW: 2.50). Vestigial eyes convex and just visible.

Scape clubbed, more robust than funicle, curved at proximal third and progressively thickening towards apex. Funicle long and quite thin; all antennal segments with thin setae. Club three-segmented, compact-oval, in length twice the width, densely covered by thin setae.
Pronotum elongate (PL: 0.80 mm, PW: 0.70 mm, PL/PW: 1.14), wider at middle and with echinopappolepida at base. Scutellum visible.
Elytra elongate, rounded to sides, dorsally vaulted (EL: 1.97 mm, EW: 1.00 mm, EL/EW: 1.97), wider at middle with convex suture. Humeri rounded. Striae with 15–16 evident punctures, catenulate, large, deep. Interstriae convex with thin setae recumbent and short. Elytral declivity> 60 degrees.

Ecology and Phenology. The holotype fo this speies was collected by Winkler extractors from soil obtained sifting the leaf litter on clay soil, of an olive grove in March, at elevations from 150–200 meters. Numerous and repeated collections at the same locality, in the same or in other seasons gave negative results.
Main soil type. Vertic Cambisol ( European Soil Data Centre; Panagos et al. 2012) .
Reproduction. Amphigonic.
Associated species. Sympatric with Pseudomeira doderoi Solari, 1955 .
