Odynerus cylindriventris Kostylev, 1935a: 132 , ♀ (type locality: “ Skobelev ” [ Uzbekistan]).

Odynerus distinctus Kostylev, 1935a: 133 , ♀ (type locality: “Fergana sept. Namangan, Tl. Padscha-ata Toste 4000” [ Uzbekistan]), syn. nov.

Distribution. Uzbekistan.

Remarks. Kotylev described both Odynerus cylindriventris and O. distinctus in the same paper (1935a) as closely related species nearly from the same place. He stated that the former species had tergum 1 longer than half of its width while the latter species had, correspondingly, a shortened tergum 1. Examination of the holotype of O. cylindriventris in the Zoological Museum of the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University and the holotype of O. distinctus in the Zoological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Saint Petersburg) did not confirm this difference.
