Genus Simognathus Trouessart, 1889

Diagnosis: Spindle­shaped body. Dorsal plates foveate throughout. Three­segmented palps dorsally attached on gnathosoma. Tibia I bearing a heavy apical spine. Tarsus I with a heavy medial claw and seta­like lateral claws. Genu I lacks bipectinate seta.
