"Habitat in Canada." RCN: 3781.

Lectotype (Fernald in Rhodora 37: 288. 1935): Arduino 13, Herb. Linn. No. 655.12 ( LINN) .

Current name: Potentilla pensylvanica L. ( Rosaceae ).

Note: Soják (in Preslia 59: 290, 298. 1987; Candollea 60: 66. 2005) provides further discussion on the material in LINN associated with this name.
