Diagnosis: Males of P. doutreleponti are characterized by the short RTA with sinuous dorsal margin and truncated tip in combination with the large ribbonshaped embolus and the large CAPT, which protrudes distally.

Etymology: The species name is a patronym in honour of Hugues Doutrelepont who collected the type specimens.

Description: Male (holotype, MRAC 174796). Total l 4.90.

Carapace chestnut brown, covered by tiny warts forming a network with polygonal meshes. Carapace l: 2.50; w: 2.10. Fovea deep, clearly delimited. Sternum warted, l: 1.10; w: 1.34. Abdomen greyish brown, with a large, brown dorsal scutum covering 95% of do abdominal surface area.

Legs orange-brown, covered by fine warts.

Leg spination: fe: I pl 0-0-0-1-1 rlv 0-0-0-0-1; ti: I ve 2-2-2-2-2-2-2; II ve 2-2-2-2-2-2-2; mt: I ve 2-2-2-2; II ve 2-2-2-2; III ve 0-2-0; IV ve 0-2-1.

Male palp ( Fig. 15A, B View Figure 15 ): RTA broad at base, tapered to truncate tip. PTA large, with sharp tip. Embolus very large, ribbon-shaped, broad to rounded tip. MA membranous, broad and flattened. FC tooth-shaped, lying alongside embolus, tip bent in apical direction. Basal part of tegulum large with large, triangular CAPT; PAPT small.

Female unknown.
