Type material: Holotype: Female : IVORY COAST: Réserve de la Marahoué, east of Bouaflé, 06°50′N, 05°35′W, Deeleman C. ( RMNH). GoogleMaps

Diagnosis: Females of P. christae are characterized by the epigyne with a broad roughly quadrangular indentation and the large transverse lobate ducts.

Etymology: The species name is a patronym in honour of Christa Deeleman-Reinhold, who collected the type specimen.

Description: Female (holotype, RMNH). Total 3.76.

Carapace reddish brown, covered by tiny warts forming a network with polygonal meshes. Carapace l: 0.99; w: 1.21. Fovea deep, clearly delimited. Sternum warted, l: 0.99; w: 1.21. Abdomen white. Legs pale yellow, fe and ti orange.

Leg spination: fe: I pl 0-0-1-1-1 rlv 0-0-1-1-1; III do 0-0-1; IV do 0-0-1; ti: I ve 2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2; II ve 2-2- 2-2-2-2-2-2; mt: I ve 2-2-2-2; II ve 2-2-2-2.

Epigyne ( Figs 13D, E View Figure 13 , 38G View Figure 38 ): dark area with quadrangular central depression near posterior margin. Copulatory ducts short, simple, leading sideward towards long spermathecae with finely divided lumen; surrounded by large lobate ducts.

Male unknown.

Known geographical distribution: Ivory Coast ( Fig. 19 View Figure 19 ).
