Description. Adult described by Malenovský et al. (2007).
Host plant. The holotype was collected on Dacryodes edulis (Burseraceae) , a possible host. Other specimens were found on Sorindeia grandifolia (Anacardiaceae) ( Malenovský et al. 2007).
Biology. Unknown.
Distribution. Cameroon, Nigeria.
Material examined. NIGERIA: 1 ♀, Ibadan, 11 June 1956 (V. F. Eastop). Slide-mounted [ BMNH] .
Comments. Malenovský et al. (2007) reported variation in the fore wing pattern ( Figs. 44–45 View FIGURES 39–48 ). Fig. 45 View FIGURES 39–48 shows the condition in the holotype. Several other specimens from Cameroon and the specimen from Nigeria have a more distinct dark brown infuscation across basal portions of veins M and R and small dark brown patches on the touching point of veins Rs and M 1+2 and apices of R 1 and Rs ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 39–48 ) .
