Holotype ♂, Cameroon: Centre Province   GoogleMaps , 20 km E Yaoundé, Soa, 3°57’N, 11°36’E, 725 m, 15 May 2004, secondary forest, Lecaniodiscus cupanioides (J. L. Tamesse) View in CoL [NHMB, examined].

Description. Adult and larva described by Malenovský et al. (2007).

Host plant. Lecaniodiscus cupanioides (Sapindaceae) .

Biology. Induces nipple galls on leaves as figured in Malenovský et al. (2007).

Distribution. Cameroon, Uganda.

Material examined. UGANDA: 1 ♂, 1 ♀, District Masindi, Budongo Forest near Sonso, 1°45’N, 31°25’E, 1200 m, 1–10 July 1995, canopy fogging, seasonal rain forest, Rinorea beniensis (Violaceae) , secondary forest (T. Wagner); 2 ♂, 2 ♀, same data but 5–15 January 1997; 1 ♀, same data, but 15–25 January 1997; 1 ♂, same data, but 15–25 January 1997, Cynometra alexandri (Fabaceae) . Dry- and slide-mounted and preserved in ethanol [ MAKB, MMBC, NHMB].
