Material examined. COSTA RICA: Alajuela Province, Alfaro Ruiz Cantón, near Zarcero, 10°10'29''N 84°24'40''W, 1566 m a.s.l., 2 males, 15.viii.2010, net, T. Andersen, H.F. Mendes & L.K. Hagenlund ( ZMBN).
Remarks. These are the first record of the species from Costa Rica. It has previously been recorded from Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela and U.S.A. ( Saether 1982, Mendes et al. 2004, Mendes & Andersen 2008).
