1. Both sexes: distal seta (av1) on palp trochanter pilose ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 a); hypostome with seta h1 smooth ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 a); exopodal patterning between CxII–III usually spotted, sometimes striped. Female: sternogynial shield coming to an apical knob posteriorly, curving outwards anteriorly ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 a). Male: always with separate presternal shield (tetartosternum) bearing setae st1 ( Fig. 13 View FIGURE 13 a); base of tritosternum same form as female.. ..................................................................................................................................................................... 2

Female: sternogynial shield rounded posteriorly, curving slightly inwards anteriorly ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 b).
