Material examined. 1♀, China, Zhejiang Prov., Siming Mt., 13.VI.1981, Lai Zhang , No. 840332 ( ZJUH) . Comparative diagnosis. Similar to H. brachygena sp. nov., but H. planidorsum has the middle lobe of mesoscutum rather flat and slightly protuberant (convex and moderately protuberant in H. brachygena ), the propodeal medial areola is wide ( Fig. 21 E; narrower in H. brachygena : Fig. 11 E) and is more extensively sculptured. The first tergite of ♀ is robust, about 1.2 times as long as its apical width, but slender of ♂ (up to about twice as long).

Host. Parasitoid of larvae of Dere thoracica ( Coleoptera : Cerambycidae ) ( Yu et al., 2012). Distribution. China (Zhejiang) ; Japan, Russia. New record for China.
