Kryzhanskij, No. IOZ(E)1689944 ( IZAS) ; 3♀♀, Tibet prov., Motuo [= Medog], Beibeng , 850 m, 26.VI.1983, Yinheng Han, No. IOZ(E)1689949, IOZ(E)1689950, IOZ(E)1689951 ( IZAS) .

Comparative diagnosis. The unique shape of the frontal protuberance ( Figs 24 View FIGURE 24 I, J) makes this species easy to recognize, in combination with the somewhat upcurved scutellum subposteriorly and the white or pale yellowishband of the antenna in both sexes.

Host. Unknown.

Distribution. China (Guangxi, Fujian, Yunnan, Tibet); Vietnam. New record for China.

Notes. The types of W. cincticornis (Kieffer) are lost, but the description of the frons and the frontal protuberance leave little doubt about its similarity with W. unicornis (Turner) and, therefore, is W. cincticornis synonymized with the latter. The identity of Wroughtonia cornuta Cameron, 1899 , from India (not W. cornuta (Cameron, 1886) from Japan) is still problematic; it differs from W. unicornis by having the subposterior crest of the scutellum hardly protruding dorsally, the ovipositor sheath about 1.3 times as long as fore wing (0.9–1.0 times in W. unicornis ), the less widened marginal cell of the hind wing, the ventro-basal tubercle of the hind coxa shorter (fig. 32 in van Achterberg, 1987) and the pronope circular.
