( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 )

Pimpla dentator Fabricius, 1804: 114 .

Helconidea dentator View in CoL ; Hedqvist, 1967: 140; Shenefelt, 1970: 197 –198; van Achterberg, 1987: 237 (lectotype designation). Wroughtonia dentator ; Watanabe, 1972: 5; Tobias, 1976: 90; Sheng, 1990: 56; Sheng et al., 1992: 80. Helcon aequator Nees, 1812: 219 View in CoL (type probably lost, not in the Gravenhorst Collection). Helcon rugator Ratzeburg, 1848: 67 View in CoL (type lost).

Material examined. No material from China; a ♀ from Austria (Tyrol, Paznauntal Kappl, 1200 m, ZJUH) illustrated. Included in this paper because it was reported from Nei Menggu (= Inner Mongolia) by Sheng (1990) and Sheng et al. (1992).

Comparative diagnosis. Essentially as H. dentipes (e.g. similar shape of the lamella between the antennal sockets) and is mainly differentiated because of the largely dark brown hind leg and the brown to dark brown fore and middle coxae.

Host. Parasitoid of larval Cerambycidae ( Yu et al. 2012) .

Distribution. Europe, Japan, China (Nei Menggu), Russia (including Far East).
