Type locality and specimens. Fundnotiz [locality note]: Station 136, Harvey.
Dimensions. Länge [length] 24 mm. 51 Beinpaare [leg pairs].
Type material. Syntype ♂ ( ZMH-A0000557 ). AUSTRALIA: Western Australia, Harvey [ca. 33°04’S, 115°54’E] GoogleMaps .

Old type catalogue. Weidner (1960), p. 62, No. 9. Holotype.
Type status. Attems did not mention the number of specimens in his description and there is one additional ♀ at the NHMW. All specimens are syntypes .
Other type material. There is 1♀, head missing, 1 slide (Mx, prepared by Crabill), probably syntype, held at the NHMW (no. 7056). Ilie et al. (2009: 36) noted ” Attems 1911a pictured only male features, not indicating how many individuals of which sex were available for the description. Weidner (1960: 62) claimed the holotype for the ZMH.”
Collection remarks. The specimen was collected by Wilhelm Michaelsen during his expedition to Western Australia 1905.
Current systematic position. Steneurytion incisunguis (Attems, 1911) ; transferred to this genus by Bonato et al. (2007: 8).
