Xyleborus samoensis Beeson, 1929: 237 . Synonymy: Wood 1960: 61.
Schedl (1951a) reported Xyleborus samoensis Beeson, 1929 , from Amanave on Tutuila. The species was originally described from Upolu, and is now considered a synonym of E. piceus ( Wood 1960) View in CoL . The species occurs in the Afrotropical and Oriental regions eastward to New Guinea and the islands of the Western Pacific.
