Xyleborus rameus Schedl, 1940: 441 View in CoL . Synonymy: Schedl 1958: 147.

Beeson (1929) described Xyleborus bicolor View in CoL subspecies unimodus from Pago Pago, and Schedl (1951a) reported X. rameus Schedl View in CoL from the Pago- Matafao trail; both are now considered synonyms of P. bicolor View in CoL . The species occurs throughout the Oriental region eastwards to New Guinea and the Western Pacific islands.
