Note: Although Townsend (in Nasir & Ali, Fl. W. Pakistan 71: 31. 1974) indicated 290.6 (LINN) as holotype, the sheet lacks a Species Plantarum number (i.e. “3”) and was a post-1753 addition to the herbarium, and is not original material for the name. With other original material in existence, it cannot be treated as neotype.
