Remarks. Diploschema mandibulare was described based on four specimens, three males and one female, from Paraguay (Cordillera). Lane (1966) described D. klagesi based on specimens from Brazil (Amazonas), Colombia, Panama, and Paraguay. Martins & Monné (1980) synonymized D. klagesi with D. mandibulare . Currently, it is known from Panama, Colombia (Bolívar), Venezuela (Zulia, Amazonas, Anzoategui, Aragua, Apuré, Bolívar, Falcon, Guarico Delta Amacuro, Lara, and Portuguesa), French Guiana, Peru, Brazil (Amazonas, Pará, Mato Grosso, and Maranhão), Bolivia (Santa Cruz), and Paraguay ( Monné 2024a). Monné (2005a) listed Ecuador, which is not present in Monné (2024a). See comment on “Rio Verde” in remarks of Oncideres malleri Fragoso, 1970 .

Material examined. BRAZIL, Mato Grosso do Sul (new state record): Dourados , 1 female (MNRJ-ENT-47341), 27.VI.2007, Meotti & Dutra leg. ( MNRJ) ; Rio Verde [de Mato Grosso], 400 m, 1 male ( MZSP 61236 View Materials ) , no date and collector indicated ( MZSP).
