Remarks. This species was described based on a single male from Brazil (Pará). Currently, it is known from Brazil (Pará, Maranhão, Bahia, Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, and Rio Grande do Sul), Colombia, Bolivia (Beni and Santa Cruz), Paraguay, Argentina (Misiones, Santa Fé, and Buenos Aires), and Uruguay ( Monné 2024b; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2023). We do not know who recorded it from the Brazilian states of Minas Gerais, Espírito Santo, São Paulo, and Santa Catarina.

Material examined. BRAZIL, Mato Grosso do Sul (new state record): Campo Grande , CNPGC [Centro Nacional de Pesquisas de Gado de Corte—EMBRAPA], 1 male (MNRJ-ENT-47645), 28.IX.1976, W.W. Koller leg. ( MNRJ) .
