Material examined: 1♂, Rundu District, Simanya : Okavango River, 17°33'17''S, 18°32'30''E, 23–24.i.1998, [ A.H.] Kirk-Spriggs & [E.] Marais, Malaise traps, riverine forest ( NMNW) GoogleMaps .

Remarks: The above cited specimen was compared to the holotype deposited in NMWC.

Distribution: (Afrotropical): Namibia * and Uganda (not subsequently recorded).

Recorded predator: Recorded as larval food in the nest of Dasyproctus bipunctatus Lepeletier & Brullé ( Hymenoptera : Crabronidae ).
