Inner tibial spur of hind leg less than half as long as outer spur, anal point absent except in P. laticauda and P. longicornia where extreme apex without microtrichia. Female known only from P. trilobata , tergite IX divided into two setigerous protrusions without distinct caudal notch. Immatures known only from P. trilobata . Male genital sac of pupa with basal, ventral spinules. Posterior parapods of larva with 5 claws.
