Anal lobe of wing reduced, postcubital fork present in P. digitata and P. joaquimvenancioi , inner tibial spur of mid leg absent, anal point covered by microtrichia, superior volsella absent; virga long except in P. reyei , inferior volsella with accessory lobe adpressed to gonocoxite, superior volsella absent, crista dorsalis of moderate size. Females known from P. digitata and P. joaquimvenancioi only, with tergite IX divided into two setigerous protrusions, without distinct caudal notch; seminal capsules with fine scattered microtrichia. Immatures unknown.
