Material examined: BRAZIL: São Paulo State, Estação Ecológica Juréia-Itatins , Peruíbe , 24º31'06''S 47º12'06''W, holotype male, 3.v.2002, Malaise (Trilha 1), N. W. Peixoto & eq. col. (PEJU17: BIOTA-FAPESP) ( MZUSP) . Paratype male, same data as holotype .

Diagnostic characters: The species differs from other members of the group by having not extended costa, third palpomere with 13-14 sensilla clavata, anal point narrowly triangular with conspicuous microtrichia to apex, R 4+5 ending distal to apex of M 3+4, and penis cavity sclerotized.

The species known from São Paulo State, Brazil, is described in detail by Andersen et al. (2010: 59).
