Anal lobe of wing weak or reduced, costal extension sometimes long ( A. hirticaudatus , A. fortispinatus ), Cu 1 curved or sinuous, setae on R of male absent except in A. wirthi , supraalar often absent ( A. wirthi , A. lusciniolus , A. caspersi , A. fortispinatus ), superior volsella absent or reduced. Known females ( A. wirthi , A. lusciniolus ) with sharply triangular posterolateral corners of segment X. Immatures unknown. Paraphyletic group.
