Distribution

Mediterranean species known from the Apennine Peninsula, the Balearic Islands and the south-western quadrant of the Iberian Peninsula, Coimbra being the only locality cited from Portugal ( Roewer (1923) sub Parasclerosoma lusitanicum ). The numerous records provided would be the first citation for the Beja District.
