Lectotype (designated here by Nordenstam): [icon] "Tithymalus dendroides Linariae foliis" in Plukenet, Phytographia: t. 319, f. 5. 1694; Almag. Bot.: 369. 1696. - Epitype (designated here by Nordenstam): Herb. Linn. No. 1038.17 ( LINN) .

Current name: Euryops tenuissimus (L.) View in CoL View at ENA DC. ( Asteraceae ).

Note: In the absence of any relevant material in LINN, Nordenstam (in Opera Bot. 20: 74. 1968) designated 1038.17 (LINN) as a neotype. However, original material (a cited Plukenet illustration) exists which precludes the possibility of neotypification. Plukenet’s figure (which depicts a sterile branch) is designated here as the lectotype, with 1038.7 (LINN) as its epitype.
