Material examined. Two males and one female in fairly good condition. Female with a white label: “ Pigoda [sic], A. S.”; one of the males with a white label: “ sentata Dall”. Green label: “ Edessa brevidens, Spin. – n. sp.? ♂ ♀, D. Buquet, Brésil ” .

Remarks. The males are not conspecific.
