BA: Grab (described as M. ruficornis Strobl ( Strobl 1900; Naglis & Negrobov 2014)).

Remarks. Gosseries (1988) proposed a new name ( Medetera negrobovi ) for Medeterus ruficornis Strobl, 1898 , preoccupied by Medeterus ruficornis Haliday, 1838 , now in genus Thinophilus Wahlberg ( Naglis & Negrobov 2014) .
