Diagnosis. The females of S. radiatus are easily distinguished by the shape of the epigynum ( Fig. 62 View FIGURES 62 73. 62 66 ), the spermathecae ( Fig. 63 View FIGURES 62 73. 62 66 ) and colour pattern of opisthosoma ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 62 73. 62 66 ). The males of S. radiatus resemble S. annulatus by the presence of a lateral projection on the tegulum ( Fig. 65 View FIGURES 62 73. 62 66 ), which in S. radiatus is larger and not pointed as in S. annulatus ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 11. 1 3 ).

Female. For a description of the female see Latreille (1819), Lessert (1936), and Benoit (1968). Epigynum and spermathecae as in Figs. 6263 View FIGURES 62 73. 62 66 .

Male. For description of male see Lessert (1936), Lawrence (1940) and Benoit (1968). Palp as in Figs. 6566 View FIGURES 62 73. 62 66 .
