Pseudosympycnus bicolor Robinson, 1967: 902 View in CoL , figs 10–11. Type locality: Rio Valle Nacional , Oaxaca, Mexico.
Diagnosis (male). Metepimeron brown. Femora mostly yellow, apical half of femur III brown. Tibia I not compressed. Tarsus I with It 1–2 pale and It 3–5 dark brown: It 2 with cluster of apical setae dorsal at apex and 1 anteroventrally hook-like seta near base; It 3 laterally compressed with series of short and slender dorsal setae. Tarsus II unmodified. Tarsus III: IIIt 2–4 with posterior row of slender and curved setae; IIIt 3 triangular, with apical projection overlapping base of IIIt 4, with cluster of apical setae.
Remarks. According to the original description, this is the only known species in the genus with a projection on the male hind tarsus (IIIt 3 triangular and overlapping base of IIIt 4).
