Material examined. Penaeid—5 OF; size range: 2.83 ≤ CL ≤ 4.60 mm; average: CL = 3.84 ± 0.82 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00219.

Stations. Penaeid—2, 3, and 5.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—Indies to Brazil (from Pará to São Paulo) ( Williams 1984; Ramos-Porto & Coelho 1998; Almeida et al. 2012).

Ecological notes. From shallow waters to 72 m. At subtidal regions, algae, sand, and on Sargassum sp. (Ramos- Porto & Coelho 1990; Almeida et al. 2012).

Remarks. Previously recorded as Periclimenes sp. Costa ( Coelho & Ramos 1972) and as Periclimenes longicaudatus (Stimpson) ( Corrêa 1972; Almeida et al. 2007 b).
