Material examined. Petro-UFS—1 M; CW = 41.63 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00122. Penaeid—1 M; CW = 36.54 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00227.

Stations. Petro-UFS—17; Penaeid—3.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA (from New Jersey to Florida, and Gulf of Mexico), Antilles, Venezuela, Suriname, French Guiana, Brazil (from Amapá to Rio Grande do Sul), and Uruguay ( Melo 1996).

Ecological notes. From intertidal to 60 m. On sand, shell, and coral bottoms ( Melo 1996).

Remarks. Santos et al. (2016) collected specimens were downstream of the São Francisco River, at the border of Alagoas and Sergipe.
