Material examined. Petro-UFS—25 (3 M); size range: 44.91 ≤ CW ≤ 87.40 mm; average: CW = 73.03 ± 24.35 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00037. Penaeid—10 (4 M, 6 F); size range 26.98 ≤ CW ≤ 93.35 mm; average: CW = 52.96 ± 21.32 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00225.

Stations. Petro-UFS—11 and 16; Penaeid—2, 3, 4, 5 and 9.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA (North Carolina, Florida, and Gulf of Mexico), Antilles, Colombia, Venezuela and Brazil (from Amapá to Rio de Janeiro, and Santa Catarina) ( Melo 1996; Teschima et al. 2012).

Ecological notes. From shallow waters to 80 m. On mud, sand, gravel, and stone bottoms ( Melo 1996).
