Lectotype ♀ in EMEC (see Price & Beer 1963c: 63).

Type host: Asio flammeus sandwichensis (Bloxham, 1826) .

Other hosts: Asio flammeus galapagoensis (Gould, 1837) ; Bubo virginianus (Gmelin, 1788) ; Circus cinereus Vieillot, 1816 .

Chilean host: Glaucidium nanum (King, 1828) .
