Liparotoma amoenum Simon, 1884: 138 (immature holotype from Cabo de Hornos, in MHNP, not reexamined). Ramírez, 1993: 202.

Philisca amoena: Ramírez 2003: 187 .

Diagnosis: Resembles P. hyadesi and P. doilu by the elongate paramedian apophysis and transversely wrinkled median field of the epigyne ( Fig. 4b–e View FIGURE 4 ). It can be easily distinguished by having a much higher cephalic area ( Fig. 1b View FIGURE 1 ; Ramírez 1993: fig. 23).

Description: Male and female described in Ramírez (1993, 2003).

Distribution: Southern forests in Chile, from Cautín (Región IX) to Valdivia province (Región X), and Argentina, from Neuquén to Cabo de Hornos ( Fig. 38c View FIGURE 38 , Ramírez 1993, 2003).
