bisbigemina Pic, 1917; gredosensis Pic, 1918; illyricus Mulsant, 1861 ( Telephorus ); immaculithorax Pic, 1900; insignaticollis Pic, 1900; longitarsis Pandellé, 1867 ( Telephorus ); nigrolabrus Pic, 1915; oculata Gebler, 1817; pueli Pic, 1913; pupillata Frivaldszky in Ménétriés, 1840 nomen nudum [the correct year of description of this species is 1840 not 1839 as in Delkeskamp (1977) and Cantharis pupillata appears also as nomen nudum in Frivaldszky, 1845, see Bálint & Abadjiev 2006]; quadrinotatithorax Pic, 1914; simoni Pic, 1922; subgeminus Rey, 1891 ( Telephorus ); trinotatithorax Pic, 1914.

Distribution in Iran. Kordestan: 20 km S of Divandarreh, 1,300 m ( Švihla 1999). Generic records: NW Iran ( Švihla 1999), Iran ( Kazantsev 2004, 2011; Kazantsev & Brancucci 2007; Silkin 2008; Yildirim et al. 2011; Fanti 2014; Koçak & Kermal 2015).

Distribution outside Iran. Central and Southern parts of Europe and European Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Turkey, Ukraine, West and East Siberia ( Kazantsev 2011; Yildirim et al. 2011), Israel ( Koçak & Kemal 2015).
