Distribution. Cryptogenic. Neotropical; Galápagos: Floreana, Isabela, Marchena, San Cristóbal, Santa Cruz, Santiago, Seymour.
Remarks. Adults of this species were collected from the arid to upper humid zones. Adult flies are commonly collected in traps baited with dung or carrion and Malaise traps ( Yau & Marshall 2018).
