Distribution. West Palaearctic.—Introduced into Brazil: RJ ( Costa Lima 1942, as Rhinocola succinla [sic], = Agonoscena succinta [sic]), SP ( Burckhardt & Lauterer 1989), MG (ELEF, NHMB).
Host plants. Ruta chalapensis , R. graveolens (Rutaceae) .
Comment. According to Hodkinson & White (1981) the record of A. succincta from Brazil is an introduction or a misidentification. Our findings confirm the former.
