Material examined. 1 male, China, Prov. Yunnan, Jiangcheng , 15-17.ix.2008. H.L Han, E. Liu, genit. prep. HHL- 2430-1, coll. NEFU .

Diagnosis. In the male genitalia T. paraunguis shows strong similarities to T. unguis but differs in the following features: the shape of the fultura superior; a longer and broader process on the left side of tegumen; the longer and narrower pollex; the tapered ampulla with a slightly broader neck; the somewhat larger sacculus, with two conelike processes on right side (in T. unguis the sacculus bears narrower conelike processes); the left neck of ampulla bears a straight spine-like process which is absent in T. unguis; the juxta of T. paraunguis is dorsally broader, apically with one extra process; and the phallus is less curved than that of T. unguis, with a less pointed coecum and prominently raised crest.
