The montana species-group (after Fibiger 2007)
It is characterised by the following combination of characters: The valva is broad at its apex; the digitus prominent, asymmetrical, with small costal process at its base; the juxta bears a prominent ventral mushroom-like process and is higher than wide; the anellus is fused with the juxta; the phallus is swollen medially; in the female genitalia the 7 th abdominal segment bears hollow anterior flaps. The group comprises five species, distributed in Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. The new material on this group has not been examined and therefore the montana speciesgroup is not treated in present publication.
