DISTRIBUTION. — Cosmopolitan species, European origin.
HABITATS. — Mediterranean to humid grasslands, riparian forests, Mediterranean chaparrals, cork-oak open woods, pine forests; at low altitudes.
GENETIC LINEAGES. — We found two distinct species-levels lineages corresponding to the morphological description of A. chlorotica :
