Material examined. 1♀, LepsocAfrica, Staude et al. (2016), M948, Dichomeris sp. (det. L. Aarvik), Dichomeridinae , Gelechiidae , rerared on Grewia flavescens , Malvaceae, Casketts farm, South Africa, Limpopo, Hoedspruit, 24˚20’36’’S, 31˚09’07’’E, 3.i.2015 eclosed (A. & I. Sharp); 1♀, same data as for above specimen, but M530, 13.xii.2013 (all HSS).
Biology. The larva was observed feeding on Grewia flavescens (Malvaceae) in December. Adult emerged 3.i and 13.xii ( Staude et al. 2016: 69, 70).
Distribution. South Africa ( Janse 1963: 257).
